Is there a brand you would never buy and why? For me it’s COACH and this is the reason…

Main Post:

Years ago I had a boss who had an extensive Coach bags and accessories collection. Back in 2006 the brand wasn’t so popular in Europe and all of her purchases had been made in the US. That woman made my life a misery, bullied me and ultimately nearly broke me. I cannot help but associate this brand with her and for this reason I can’t get myself to see the appeal. Do you have a brand that you similarly cannot bring yourself to buy for completely irrational reasons?

Top Comment: this isn't brand specific; but brands that promote "vegan leather" (PU) bags for a shitton of money. i absolutely refuse to spend hundreds on a plastic bag, thank you very much.

What are you guys thoughts on Cardi B publicly dissing Coach bags?

Main Post:

For context I can’t STAND Cardi B, as a black woman I genuinely think she’s bad for the culture. I’m posting a link to her reasoning behind it that I saw on FB today, but I feel a little sad for Coach. I think Coach has served many handbag lovers extremely well for decades. They have always allowed a subtle luxury to those of us who weren’t always able to buy Chanel bags or higher designer. The bags are well made, super cute, and affordable. MANY people proudly sport their Coach bags as they should. The way social media acts, I would hate to see their sells take a nose dive because of this ratchtrosity! In my humble opinion, Cardi B needs to worry about her home life and that husband that can’t stay faithful and leave Coach alone!

Serious question about bag quality

Main Post:

In recent years I have purchased numerous luxury bags and typically have loved them. However, sometimes quality is still a concern, even at the top end. My question: should we luxury bag enthusiasts take a re-look at Coach? There are such great comments about the Coach brand on this sub that I’m wondering if Coach quality is perhaps as good as that of today’s YSL and Chanel offerings — which have seen disappointing recent changes in quality and service. I would love y’all’s thoughts and suggestions. My one main issue is that I don’t care for highly visible logos, regardless of the brand. Thank you!

Top Comment: I only own Coach bags. I have zero concerns about quality. It’s always good with some rare exceptions. They last forever

Was on my way to becoming an LV girl... then I discovered Coach.

Top Comment: I looooove the "new" Coach! The quality is phenomenal and the designs are fantastic. I think a lot of people are hung up on the way Coach was a few years ago. I think this new era is lovely.

Can someone explain what's happening in the new Coach commercials?

Main Post:

Is the bag the one that's speaking the line? Does the handbag represent... an anxiety to overcome?

Top Comment: I have seen 3 of there ridiculous commercials and I now hate Coach

Where can I find a legitimate and good career coach?

Main Post: Where can I find a legitimate and good career coach?

Top Comment: Funny you should ask. I wrote a post about interviewing prospective career coaches - so that's a good starting point. I'd recommend that you interview a few that sound like people you could respect. Note: NOT someone you'd "want to get a beer with," but someone whose advice you would listen to and could actually motivate you.
